Great finale. This season has been really good, not as good as the earlier season but much better than season 6 and 5.

I've been watching season 2 and 3 over the last couple of weeks and I can't believe how downhill its gone since then
I hope Season 8 goes back down the old routes of the show.

24 will return to UK screens beginning Sunday, January 24, 2010, Sky1 has confirmed. The scheduling means that after its premiere, Day 8 of the Kiefer Sutherland-fronted drama series will air just six days behind US transmission. "Season 7 and 8…are really connected together," said Sutherland. "The storylines from season 7 really do play all the way through into season 8. "The setup for [this season] is the most realistic political thing that I think we've ever done since we started the show. This season is more grounded in what possibly could happen. There's a sense of reality that almost brings it back to season 1." Season 8 starts tonight on Sky One at 9pm, 2 hours because it's the first two episodes.
I'm already 4 episodes in though, America had a 2 episodes for 2 nights in a row last week. |

Kiefer Sutherland has insisted that a film version of 24 is still going ahead. Speaking on Live with Regis and Kelly, the actor suggested that the movie could begin filming in early 2012. "There is going to be a 24 movie," he said. "People come up to me and say they love the show. It's funny, because I don't feel like we finished. It's still such a presence in my life." He also appeared to confirm earlier reports that Top Gun director Tony Scott is considering helming the project. "We will hopefully start next January and Tony Scott is one of the directors who has expressed great interest in doing it," he said. "I think he would be fantastic. I am really excited to do that." Sutherland recently signed on to play the lead role in Heroes creator Tim Kring's new Fox pilot Touch.
