Good point ,but what if the past is painful ? Is it not best to try to put it behind you ?

some of my past is very painful but i put it down to lesson learnt if it wasnt for some of the painful stuff i have dealt with i wouldnt be the strong person i am now
Yes it does make you stronger in some ways,ie the more time that passes and the past is not mentioned then you get stronger ,but when the past comes back to haunt you, then you become weak again and the bigest thing is the evil intent of others, who just want you to suffer all the timeand not be happy in anyway.Do you think this is the right thing to do,?or is it as i said they are just evil?
i dont allow it to bother me and i dont let others drag me down and thus undoing all my effort it has taken to get to this point in my life if people are really that evil that they want to upset your balance then they really are not worth the time of day

nah don't agree ... else we will keep making the same mistakes over and over again. Who we were and the choices we made back then is what shaped us today. Like it or lump it.

Ok so if you have skeletons in the cuboard you don't want to keep them there ? you want everyone to know about them ? or would you want to forget about them ?

Why would you want everyone to know about any skeletons you may have? I certainly dont, but I wont forget them and I wont be making the same mistakes again. andI wont be wearing them like a millstone round my neck either

yeah what NettoSuperstar and Pink said. I don't want all to know them but I don't want to ignore them either. When I said your past choices shape you it's not written in stone... but you learn, grow wiser from them, from both good choices and bad. All I'm saying if you ignore history your doomed to repeat it. You still make choices today... they define just as much as past ones.

The past should definatley be the past. Never look back just keep running forward, but don't forget to stop to admire the view once in a while.

The past is what locks our future.......If you let it. Religion is a classic example of that.......

Yeah sure, I received warnings on this forum in the past so if we're in a forgive and forget mood then I'd like them removed please. Thanks.

Yet another ill informed and bigoted statement from AndyCapp! Do you have any experience of people with mental health problems? do you have any idea what its like for someone to hear voices, experience delusions and detachment from reality or to mistakenly believe they are in mortal danger?? No probably not, the world according to AndyCapp (***** the facts, ***** any kind of knowledge, logic or empathy or even attempting to research anything your talking about!, the world should listen to my hate filled ideas and accept this as truth!)
