Default Could Take That break America?

I've seen a lot of comments from people on YouTube and even people on forums saying 'Why havn't TT broken America?'. A lot of the comments are from Americans who love them and would like them to break America.

I was talking to my 50ish old aunt who lives in LA and she said quite a few people in LA have heard of Take That and love their music.

They're getting bigger and bigger over here, breaking all the records,is breaking America the next big thing?

They could get relatively known, but in now way do I expect them to conquer the charts.

They just don't appeal to today's pop charts.

I do like some of their songs though!

In all honesty, nope. The charts over there are completely different to the ones here. The Billboard chart is very R&B/Hip-Hop oriented and you have to be the right people to chart. I personally think they'll flop on their faces if they did. They'll definitely build a fanbase over there by doing so, but not enough for them to crack America. If they were 16 years old, definitely.

I just don't see Americans welcoming a boyband of 40 year old men with open arms into their charts.

Some artists can't do it. Kylie has never cracked the US market for example.

I'm not sure, I don't think TT are right for the charts over there as they are quite different to ours. It's like Kylie Minogue, she's never broken America either.

Thats not true about Kylie Minogue. I lived there when she was a chart topper, and she was very popular, and was also on the radio all the time. most music lovers know Kylie Minogue in the US. I had never heard of Take that ever before.
