Default Dancing on Ice
Sunday, 11 January 2009, 7:00PM - 8:30PM

Superstar skating duo Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean return to train a team of celebrities to dance on the ice in ITV1’s hit series.

Our skating stars are up for the biggest challenge of their lives as they compete each week to perform the specially choreographed routines.

And the stellar line up are hoping to attempt some of the most daring moves yet as they don glittering costumes to glide their way round the famous rink.

The search for Britain’s next Ice Star will also be featured in the series with the winning act getting the chance to perform at the Dancing on Ice live final.

Suzanne Shaw, Kyran Bracken and Gaynor Faye all shined on the ice to be crowned champions and now another celebrity will attempt to win the hearts of the nation and the judges.

Who will be the first to fall over? Who will attempt some of the trickier manoeuvres and will anyone fall foul to injury?

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby will be rink side to present the live series and judges Jason Gardiner, Nicky Slater, Karen Barber, Ruthie Henshall and Robin Cousins will be on hand to deliver their verdicts.

I've never been able to get into this show, or SCD. I just don't see the attraction tbh. The only reason I tuned in early last year was to see how Samantha got on and she went out early I think.

I like Dancing on Ice, it's like strictly but with more risk of injury and just plain better!

I don't know if to watch this series or not, last year was a bit of a let down and its starting to get too repetitive.
