Do you think the nomination process begins too early in to the show? for example should the housemates be given at least a couple of weeks to settle in and more importantly give us time to judge.
Im not saying they should or should'nt, i just wanted peoples views. |

They got it right last year when they planned to allow the housemates to be in two weeks before the nominations. It only went wrong because Kitten was thrown out.
I think if that had happened this year and it had been between Craig and Mary in week 2... Craig would have gone. |

I think nominations should begin about two weeks into the show. People haven't really got to know each other by the first time they nominate. As AndyJK has already mentioned, it was due to nominating far too early that we lost Anoushka so early on in BB4; and she was one of the few people in there that year, who could have lifted the house and stopped the program being so boring. Obviously, they nominated ridiculously early in BB4 - on the first night, which was a terrible idea.

I would like to see them have a little more time to get to know each other before having to go through the whole eviction nomiation process. However I think that partly they do it this way so you nominate the person who your gut tells you to

I think they should wait 2 weeks aswell, first impressions can be wrong and nominating so quickly usually means that two big personalities are up for eviction and then we lose one housemate who could have provided a lot of entertainment.

Like in bb4, Anoushka should NEVER have been the first one to go!!

I think they should stick with the 2 weeks before doing nominations like in BB1 and BB2

I like the 'gut instinct' nomination, not first night, that's too quick but I think doing it 3 days in, as they did this year, is a good idea. It is long enough to have become aquainted with people but not long enough for all aspects of a character to have been shown.
The downside to it is that people with a gameplan haveto start it from the first moment and they have no time to relax. |

I think you have to give the housemates a chance to settle it, nominations too early on can be done on first impressions which arent always right. Much prefer to have the first eviction after the second week gives everyone a chance to get to know people. And let's face it, people can change in two weeks you only have to look at Penny in BB2 what a transformation from a sensible teacher to a complete nut case in two weeks.
