I don't think the celebs don't go into hiding. I remember H giving an interview to the press the day before CBB5 in which he came out of the closet.

I dont think so, it works a lot differently. Because BB is trying to be as nice as possible to them just to get them in the house, then when they are in thats when they start being horrible.

Special treatment, special house installations. All that stuff, dont wanna make the celeb angry by putting them in confinement

I think that is stupid because the celebs can look at the betting odds on them to win and things before the show starts which tells them how popular they are compared to others and how unpopular they are. Although I can understand that the producers don't want to annoy the celebs before they go into the house.

They don't go into hiding but I think that a member of the Big Brother team watches over them on the day before and day of the launch show.

So was he hiding in the closet then?

If they do go into any form of hiding it's literally only the night before, but I imagine with this year's show launching so early it'll be a case of sending a car around to pick up the HMs on Friday morning.

They are shaparoned the day before the launch and are taken to the studios on the day of the launch, held inside the studio buildings (dressing rooms) until it is their time to enter (often, they're waiting several hours).

In all fairness they wont, most of the celebs wont even care about winning. They are only doing it for the pay cheque... and winning or not they all get the same amount of money.

Which is kind of a shame, especially when chances are the £20k celebs will outlast the £150k celebs by a couple of weeks.

The sad thing is they'll all claim they're doing it "for charity", but based on voting in the last couple of regular series they'll be next to nothing earned for charity - certainly nowhere near the £250,000 or so raised in CBB3, and IIRC it was close to half a million for CBB4. (Can't recall CBB5).
