Vincent Ford, the songwriter who wrote the late Bob Marley's 1974 classic 'No Woman No Cry', has died aged 68.
Ford died due to complications caused by diabetes, reports BBC News. He had lost both his legs to the disease. 'No Woman No Cry' appeared on Marley's 'Natty Dread' album. Ford is also credited with contributing to the writing of Marley's 1976 album 'Rastaman Vibration'. http://www.nme.com/news/bob-marley/41853 |

The smart money says that it was actualy Bob Marley who wrote and was responsible for the song. He simply credited the work to Vincent Ford so Ford would get Royalties, enabling him to continue running a soup house in Trenchtown, for the poor and homeless.
