Default The BB Producers have messed up AGAIN!

With Orlaith surviving yet another eviction, I now think the secret garden was an absolutely stupid idea which has allowed two extremely nice-ish and somewhat boring housemates to enter the house of loudish characters which has completely buggered up the works.

What were the producers thinking??!!

They should know by now that there are too many people watching who play detective nit-picking every housemate's words and actions to expose any (non-existent) game plans. If viewers are so upset by game plans and bitching then lets have a show consisting of 12 middle-aged librarians, then we can all say how nice they all are taking turns to make dinner, how loudly each one snores and interesting it is watching them sitting around talking about the works of Chomsky and the Industrial revolution. Surely this will please the fickle public because then they won't have anything to moan about.

I think viewers briefly woke up after the abysmal BB 4 fiasco then fell asleep again.

I've seen Eugene, but who's the other one?

If the game plans are non-existent, then how can those watching expose them? Why even bother to post on a Big Brother forum, when you apparently don't understand why 99.999% of the audience watch it in the first place?

Intelligent constructive criticism and witty repartee is not dead, I see....

Perhaps you could explain why you watch the show, and what you find entertaining about it - given that your post suggests you have a markedly different take on the show than the vast majority of viewers?

Kemal went as he was the biggest threat to everybodies favorites in the house. The public were voting tactically.

Thats why the majority of the public are pathetic, it should be the entertaining ones which stay not someone who provides no entertainment what so ever, last week was ALOT worse than this week though because Science was brilliant entertainment whereas Kemal was ok.

I dont see what all the fuss is about really, this isnt the first and wont be the last time someone entertaining goes, people should be use to it by now. The show was poor since day one when they put Makosi in the house in my opinion lol. Im glad kemal went as now makosi has to either stick with derek, be best mates with orlaith or try getting with anthony.

No, I'd like you to first explain how my comments indicate I don't understand why 99.999% of viewers watch the show?

Kemal's betting odds to win have always been the lowest since the start. Orlaith is more of a threat.

It all comes down to the voting system.... we should be voting for people to stay!

Because your post seemingly mocks the very reason the vast majority watch the show in the first place. If you're somehow above that, then your higher plain is a land seldom explored, and it would be very interesting to taste the fruit of the knowledge tree that apparently grows only in your garden.

I dont think to many look at betting odds in a strong manner all odds are different however Kemal has been in poll position as he was favorite at the start but Orlaith has never been favorite. Plus coming in at a late stage alot of people think that her and eugene dont deserve to win as much as the rest.

I've never made any secret of my dislike for the viewing public. That's why I've been banging on about changing the voting rules over the past two years because I have no faith in the voting system whatsoever - as proved tonight and last week where two housemates I believe should have remained inside the house have gone.

And of course my reasons for watching Big Brother differ from other viewers but I doubt I'm in the 0.001% minority as you indicated. I use these forum boards to express my opinions on Big Brother as a whole, and however pointless and stupid you think they are, Im entitled to make them.

Of which you are one yourself. I totally agree with you on that point.

Well that doubt will linger, as you can't or won't elucidate. As do the rest of the membership, presumably. I never said that your opinions were "pointless and stupid", I merely asked you to clarify them. Again, you either can't or won’t.

Is 'bugger' appropriate on this forum? Just wondering, because I've seen people censor 'bloody'.

I agree with Mike and AndyJK - why get rid of someone entertaining and interesting, to keep someone boring in? And on a side issue, surely people can watch the show for any reason they choose?

GlitterEyes made an interesting comment - that people were voting Kemal out because he would be more of a threat to viewer's favourites in the final week.

I also agree with Red Moon - we should be voting for who we want to stay. If we did, I feel sure that Kemal and Science (certainly Science) would still be in, however strange that sounds.

Heh, got an idea:

They put up someone the public hates but is really entertaining (Makosi) against boring no fan base person (Eugene) but all the votes then get changed to the person with the most votes stays, thus you get rid of a boring person...

That was hardly the point. The suggestion that someone considers themselves to have a better understanding of the show than anyone else ... was.

Better understanding of the housemates, viewing public, Big Brother themselves....After 6 years of watching the show despite me saying on many occasions ' surely I must have something better to do with my time '

I always end up watching the show. Whether its better or worse than any other year , whether the loud and entertaining housemates always end up going before the boring ones, the same old questions are still asked, debated chewed up and spat out again with all the vengance that us human beings can muster up, but thats what makes us individual and singularly unique, and thank goodness we are. This years BB is no different, the arguments and discussions are still the same, just a different year with different names.
