If you only got the kitten Monday don't worry as yet.

If its the first new kitten your cat has had in the house it will take a little while to get used to having a rival. Give your cat lots of fuss, love and reasurance as it will feel threatened and do not try to force them together at all. [I'm sure you wont.]

Girls get on the least well, a mix of boys and girls is good and boys [if 'done'] will get on fine after a while. In a few weeks they will be eating, if not from the same bowl, at least beside eachother.
