I know a lot of older people who haven't got an intelligent thought in their head, and some extremely insightful and intelligent young people. People might gain more wisdom and education as they get older, but they can also get more jaded and cynical and less open to learning.

Incidentally, one of the most intelligent and insightful people in the house was Science, in my opinion (who i wish was still in there). He was younger than Eugene.

I agree with you there but there are laods of aspects of intelligance as you already know. All I was saying was it is a known fact that you get wiser as you get older. Although some people, that doesn't apply to.

There is a difference between intelligence and common sense. Unfortunately, Eugene is not very "street-wise", and he is also not very confident in himself. That's why he latches on to Derek. Derek has intelligence, confidence and common sense. Eugene just has the intelligence. He is the Millhouse of the house this year. lol

Eugene gets uncomfortable with Derek's chats when he gets bitching.
Derek is only chatting with him because Eugene's older than the others and he's trying to manipulate him. Derek needs someone that gulliable. That's why he hated science.
