Aside from the fact that she has been unable to attain the levels of
gamesmanship displayed by the other HGs and in failing has resorted to
tactics that aren't pleasant to watch.
However this isn't the crux of my post - that is the wholly unjustified
criticism of Jade about her looks and figure. She may not live up to the
epithet "stunning" "drop dead gorgeous" but she CAN be described as ordinary
looking - I challenge anybody on here to say their family, friends etc are
stunning looking and not "ordinary". The insults like Piggy faced are
pathetic in the extreme and would only be ( at the outside ) tolerable if
they came from people who themselves were jaw droppingly beautiful. Jades
figure is in itself not that bad at all she is (we reckon) about a 16 - this
we know to be about the national average - she is fully aware that she is
carrying too much weight (for herself) and on her video appeared a few
pounds lighter. She carries herself well and as she probably knows a little
exercise will see her in good stead. She has a good allover tan,doesn't look
like she bites her nails and has the best teeth I've seen on TV for ages.

So lets get real here - she looks probably no worse than yourselves or you
friends - if you are a size 10 or 12 then good luck to you and pray
childbirth doesn't rob you of it.If you are truly stunning then be modest
about it people will like you far more for it!! . A neighbour won the miss
local area competion and other local beauty contests - but her beauty was in
her personality and how she cared for others - the fact that she was jaw
droppingly good looking didn't come into it!!

I am not a Jade fan and never have been, but to harp on about her looks is just stupid. She's not exacrtly a beauty, but she isn't anywhere near as bad as the tabloid press and the 'mob mentality' so-called fans are making her out to be.

She is going to have a tough time when she comes out the house and I don't think she deserves the vilification she is going to get - no matter how annoying she is.

I agree completely. Jade has distinctive features and by no means are they or should they be described in the insulting way that the media have. Kate or Jade to win.

I totally agree Gardencroft - I think she is pretty when she smiles, the papers just find the worst possible pictures, and bully her. I read an article in the Daily Mail (which deems itself above big brother) saying how she has been treated, and that producers have had to change editing styles to make her look nicer and Adele worse, but I'm not sure about the amount of truth in it, because I don't think Adele was portrayed any differently in her last week.

Anyway, point is - leave Jade alone, I quite like her now (although I will never be her biggest fan) - she does have her heart in the right place.

As for the size 16 - I think she's smaller than that, although it shouldn't matter what size she is, and the press print pictures of her sitting down in bikinis, when she's bound to look larger.

News paper comments about Jade's weight and how she looks are well out of order. I hope when she comes out she doesn't take it to heart what they've been saying the last few weeks.

I think Jade is okay, I've always liked her except during the height of the bitching season when she was under the influence of Alcohol and Adele, and was really nasty to Sophie.

She may be uneducated, and she is not sophisticated enough to butt out when she doesn't know the subject. So most of us, if we didn't realise East Anglia was in Britain, would have had the sophistication to move the conversation somewhere else. In common with Helen from BB2, Jade did not. But if no-one had ever told you, you would not know.

In some of the conversations she has had with Jonny, I thought that she can be quite perceptive. I don't want Jade to win, because I think Jonny and Kate deserve it more, but I hopes she makes enough money when she leaves to take a while out of work and go back to school. I think she could fill in the gaps in her education and surprise many people.

I also agree with others that she has provided a lot of entertainment during BB3, and hope she gets a big cheer next Friday.

I agree that the horrible insults from the press and some people who post on these boards and so on is just out of order.
My husband is always telling me how ugly he thinks she is, but I'll tell you, I've seen a hell of a lot worse! I have also seen people who would weigh a lot more than Jade, and it's true that the average size of women in the UK is a size 16, so she's not *fat*, is she? Ok, so she's put on a few pounds since she's entered the house. That's not her fault. Big Brother doesn't give them very many tasks where they will be getting a lot of exercise and they've allowed them to spend loads of money on food. A lot of people in her position would gain some weight. I'm sure that when she's back in the real world and she gets into a normal routine, she will lose some weight, but she doesn't need to lose very much. Another thing to consider is the camera is never very flattering when you are slightly overweight, so in the flesh she may look smaller. People have said some terrible things about her being naked, come on now! It wasn't that bad! Some people are just so superficial. Just because she wasn't a gorgeous skinny model, she was frightening to look at. Give me a break!
I also agree that her teeth are gorgeous! They are perfectly straight and very white. You can tell she takes really good care of them. I suppose being a dental nurse she probably would, but even so, they are really nice even for a person in the dental proffession.
She also looks like she has very good skin.
She does have some distinct physical features which makes her unique.
I just don't think she deserves the horrible insults she has been getting about her looks. Everyone has good qualities physically. I fear that when she sees what's been said about her, she will be devestated. She just doesn't deserve it.
She has annoyed me in the past with her ramblings, and I didn't like it when she was picking on people behind their backs, but she could have done worse things. She may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I'm sure she is a nice person.
I do want Kate to win, but it's nothing to do with her looks. I am a female (as you may have gathered when I said I had a husband..lol), so her looks don't even come into it for me.
I love her personality and I feel she has been the most friendly, the least 2 faced, the least bitchy, and the most funny in the house. If Kate doesn't win, I would like to see Jonny win because I feel he has the same qualities as Kate, though I slightly prefer Kate and I do want to see a woman win this year.
I would like to see Jade come in 3rd, and then Alex 4th. I'm not sure it will work that way, but I would rather see Jade get more votes than Alex.

I could not agree more, Jade has been the victim of some terrible comments, granted she walks into a lot of things with her mouth and lack of general knowledge but that does NOT give anyone the right to criticise her. Yes this is a game they are all playing but I do think Jade has been given a hard time and I think that most of this has been incited by the tabloid press who have seen a little window of opportunity to exploit someone and climbed right through it. I would like to see her recieve a great reception for all the endless laughs she has given us when she finally leaves the BB house, whether she be first place or fourth.
