The basic budget is already causing a fracas...

Well, it's been all of about an hour since Big Brother announced that the housemates would be living on a basic budget after failing the Task and already the rumblings are starting.

Tommy suggested that no more than four people should complete the shopping list, which seemed like an intelligent idea, but everybody wanted to get their oar in.

"I think we should get more pasta - pasta fills you up," Coolio suggested.

"I'll have a word with LaToya," said Ulrika helpfully. "I think she might have to have tuna, or some fillets of salmon instead of smoked salmon, 'cause it might be a little bit cheaper. She might be happy to come to a compromise," she added.

"It's her diet - you can't ask a vegetarian to eat meat," interjected Verne.

"I'm asking her about salmon Verne, a different type of salmon that's all. I never suggested she should eat meat," said Ulrika defending herself.

"You said she should eat something and she doesn't eat that stuff," argued Verne.

"I never said that," said Ulrika.

"Yeah you did," Verne countered.

"This is all ********** b*******," muttered Ulrika as she got up and walked out towards the Luxury Bedroom where she found an ally in the form of Tina.

"We're dealing with children in there," hissed Ulrika, referring to the men of the House. "And children don't listen."

1. Tuna is still fish so why wouldnt she eat it just because its cheap.
2. I never understood why veretarians didnt eat beef, chicken etc but not fish, still meat really your killing a living thing...

Yeah I agree. I dont see how you can justify eating fish, Eggs and things like that, if you claim to be a vegetarian.

I dont know what depresses me more? Verne not understanding that salmon and tuna are fish like smoked salmon is (mind you this is a guy who didnt know Germany lost WW1) or the total pandering towards LaToya. I wonder what would be said if Ulrika demanded smoked salmon

Ulrika is a bossy boots and DOES think she is better than everyone else.

Tina is loud but at least she is somewhat entertaining, whether it churns your stomach or not i.e. biting her toenails

Be great if they turfed Ulrika Mutty& Michelleout Friday night. Wishful thinking huh!!

No idea, you will have to ask the lady herself

With regards to food, she doesnt eat alot, she doesnt drink alot

She doesnt care what she eats really

and she always gives 100% with the tasks, more than some, so she shud be allowed be have one or two things she eats, like the rest of them

and have you also noticed everyone of her tasks has been either music or dancing..... thats out of her comfort zone isnt it?

After watching last nights h/ls I'm being to really dislike her and at first she was one of my favourites

as I've just posted to the previous comment, isnt it interesting that she always seems to have a song or dance task.

As for her not eating a lot, thats not the point. On £1 a day the smoked salmon has to go, and the tuna comes in, or turkey mince which "vegatarian" food shes eating
