Here's some more forum tips...

• Number of topics on Today's posts - When you click on Today's Posts there might be 4 or 5 pages of topics. You can reduce this by increasing the number of topics per page.
  
  Click on Control Panel / Options at the top of the page, then Edit Profile, then increase the number beside the Topics Per Page option. This will also increase the number of topics per forum.
  
• Instead of creating a new topic try and add your comment to an old one.
  
• When creating a new topic it is a help to use a relevant topic title so that people sort of know what the post is about before they click.
  
• U2U private messenger - Some people have had trouble using this because their browsers do not allow pop-ups. When you click the U2U link at the top of the page the U2U messenger window should appear.
  
  If you have trouble using this (or the more smilies pop-up), you might need to change browser (Internet Explorer) settings Open Tools menu - Internet Options. Then the Privacy tab. Check the settings under Pop-up blocker, you need to allow pop-ups (from this site at least).
  
  Also check if there are other programs that are set to block pop-ups e.g. the Google or Yahoo toolbars.
  
• Attachments - it is possible to attach pictures and other files - that are stored on your computer - to posts. To do attach a picture of file to an existing topic, instead of using the quick reply box - click the New Reply (or Post Relpy) icon which is under the last post in the topic.
  
  You can select the file on your computer that you want to attach to a post by clicking the button next to Attachment.
