Default Celebrity Big Brother goes out on a high!

Why is it the **** series always seem to have good finals?

Let's face facts, barring a miracle in the summer this is probably the last ever Celebrity Big Brother - the ratings have been ridiculously low.

If we have a series next January I would bet on it being a BB All Stars, but unless Big Brother somehow survives beyond BB11, I think we've seen the last of Celebrity Big Brother.

And even if the show does recover in the summer, I think they need to concentrate on protecting the main series and leave CBB on the back burner for a few years.

I have been a fan for many years...but now it's always a fix fix fix ending .
She did not win, it was a fix.

I'm upset I have watched 3 weeks and had late nights to see a fix ending.

She should have been voted out in the first week....but because she was the only female left ...of course the young female viewers voted her to win for that reason only. Come on BB , let the public do the voting in the FIRST WEEK of all BIG Brother Shows, to get the most unpopular person out of house before a male vs female scenario happens again.

So sad for Terry.

Did no-one see Ulrika's constant miserable face, her sarcastic looks at all the others in the house as she looked "down on them" all the time.

Big Brother would have seen exactly who was the most unpopular person in the public's eye, had the public been allowed to vote in week 1 - Ulrika would have been first person out

Glad to see the back of Celebrity Big Brother to be honest, didn't really like it. Although CBB5 and CBB4 were good.

I think they shouldn't have CBB next year. I think this series has been great, but they probably won't be able to find good celebrities to go in next year. Great series, and the most unpredictable final for a while.

Aren't C4 contracted for another winter/CBB series but unless it a BB All Stars I hope we have seen the last of CBB

You're joking? This CBB has been the best of EVERY BB series. Better than BB7, BB5 BB3, better than them all. It's awesome!

I think you're the one joking - this has been the worst ever Celebrity Big Brother, never mind better than any of the main series.

I think overall the only series it betters is BB8 IMO, which isn't saying much.

Re: the contract. Some confusion over the current deal, but from what I understand the winter series is only an option on the current contract (starting with BB9) which C4 can back out of. The last contract ended with Celebrity Hijack, which did stipulate a winter series, hence Hijack which aired on E4.

I think this series wasn't that bad: it had its moments. I still think CBB4 is the best, we had a perfect cast, perfect twists, perfect tasks and perfect drama.

CBB6 has had drama, bitching and fun moments but something lacked, it didn't sound 'Big Brother', you know what I am saying ?

That is still not a fix though is it?
You say a load of young female viewers voted, so therefore she won due to the public voting for her
If nobody else bothered voting then they can't moan about their favourite not winning!

Same as the Shilpa final... Not a worthy winner but had to win due to the media/ofcom BS!

Well, although one of the better finals the fact the series was crap before hand meant nobody cared - shocking ratings last night, just 3.1m and 3.5m (3.3m without C4+1).

I'm not familiar with the ratings. But I really enjoyed the Celebrity Hijack last year - any chance they'll bring that back?

I highly doubt it - never say never, but it's likely that it was only a one-off in the absence of last year's Celebrity Big Brother.

Welcome to the forum by the way

they could, it averaged about 700,000 on E4. which is fantastic for E4.

I preferred CBB6 to CBB2 and CBB5. But it wasn't a vintage year of CBB

And the thing about about CBB is that it sets the tone for the year

CBB4 - a fantastic series lead the way to a highly anticipated series of BB7

CBB5 - Controversial, lead way to a dull BB8

BBCH - Lack of interest, lead way to a little-cared-about BB9

CBB6 - Lack of interest - will it elad way to an even less cared about series?
