A slight retraction:

I admit looking at the heading it could be taken that I was referring to ALL Americans , but that wasnt the impression I was trying to give. My point was about Americans like laToya and Verne. As I have stated I have many American friends and family and they are well travelled and not ignorant. Unfortunately it is the type of Americans like LaToya and Verne with their limited knowledge that makes people around the world dislike Americans as a whole.

I am sorry for any mis-understanding that the heading might have caused and hope this explanation has helped
