Doctors diagnosed the former Big Brother contestant with cervical cancer last August and she has been receiving chemotherapy since.

Medics have now told Goody that cancer has been found in her liver, bowel and groin.

The 27-year-old told The Sun newspaper: "I am frightened and I am angry. I don't want to die because I have so much to live for."

"It's awful. The doctors have confirmed the worst," Goody told the Sun.

"To try and remain positive, I am hoping a new type of treatment will suppress and control the cancer, which is very aggressive. I'm in a nightmare."

A previous estimate of 40% chance of cure has been scrapped, and Goody will now be treated purely to prolong her life rather than to get rid of the disease.

Goody had discharged herself from hospital to spend time with of two young sons, Bobby and Freddie, in their Essex home.

But she was taken back to London's Royal Marsden hospital on Sunday after becoming violently ill and collapsing.

Her 21-year-old boyfriend Jack Tweed is said to be "numb" over the news.

Former Coronation Street actress Julie Goodyear, who had cervical cancer and survived treatment, told Sky News Online: "Jade needs an awfully strong network of people around her.

"She needs her nearest and dearest to look after. I wish her all the happiness in the world."

OMG. I feel so sorry for her, some people say she got what she desevres after being rasist to jade. I say thats utter BULL. Yeah she got what she desevred being hated for a month or 2 but i respect the woman for apearing in Big Boss in India, and trying to gain respect again. NOBODY DESEVRES WHAT SHE IS GOING THREW. Ah I read this on DS earlier, the poor woman, I really feel for her. I've always liked Jade, I did go off her a bit after CBB but I've never hated her. She comes accross as a really down to earth person. I know there's not much point saying this because it's very likely she'll live much longer but I hope she can fight it off.

This is horrible... how did the doctors miss this 4 years ago??? Thats what will always baffle me! I feel really sorry or her and that pic is really horrible to look at, my thoughts are with her and her family.... i hope the doctors do the best they can to prolong her life as now they have decided not to get rid of the disease.

I feel really awful for her too. No one deserves that. It also makes you think about the shed loads of others who are in the same position across the world. Count your blessings people.

This is a real shame, her story is near enough the exact same as my aunts who died of cancer a few years back
Its just horrible what she is going through, I hope there is something which can be done to help her

I have supported Jade since the mintue she walked through the doors of the BB3 house. I will never believe she was racist or that she is anything other than a down to earth girl trying to earn a living for her family the only way she can. And I am truly devastated.

no one should have to go through that. despite what the public think/thought of her she shouldnt have to go through that.
