If I reinstall Microsoft word, will it delete all my word files??

Probably not, especially if you save them in the default 'My Documents' folder. But if you have made adjustments to normal.dot, back that up first.

it is obvious that your Microsoft office 2003 has been affected, remember in other cases when you can install an anti-virus later after you have installed an operating system it can delete your data or even corrupt it, so it is important for you to uninstall that Microsoft office 2003 and install a new one

I don't think that's quite obvious.
He isn't saying his files have been deleted, he's asking WILL they be.

Mark, they shouldn't. However, if you're downgrading from 2007 upward, to below - then you'll need to change your files from .docx to .doc
