The First House Pictures Will Be In Tomorrow's " The Moon!"
But before we see the Pictures lets hear about the house! In This EXCUSIVE interview with the house maker TiBB's Very Own Conor!! What is the theme of the house and what made you choose it? Well the theme is "Houses From Around The World." I decided to take some inspiration from the German and US houses. I love the open flowing feel of both. The main area of this years house has a strong US feel to it, being on two levels and having an open humongous kitchen! I've also giving it a unique touch, with lots glass, funky patterns, that almost makes it feel like your living in a lava lamp! I also added some unique and interesting furniture and textures, such as the heavy use of damask and bright colours. I've also made the basic plan much less awkward to navigate around and added a few more mirrors. What surprises and secrets are in the house? Well, I'm not giving away to much at the minute! But I will say, br careful around the mirrors. There are lots of strange shaped things that could hide or cover secrets in this house! However I can confirm that every visible door in the house that isn't labelled is either simply a toilet or a fire exit. Whats Comfortable and uncomfortable about living in this house? This year I've made the house in general uneasy on the eye. There are plenty of colourful and confusing patterns and textures. As well as extremely bright lighting and some awkward shaped places. Also, the multi level gives it a kind of impractical feel. I did include some comfortable features though, I'm not that evil! There is plenty of seating this year, all of which is comfortable. There is also example space for relaxation and preparing food in the kitchen. Also, this house is good for anyone with a gameplan. What treats are in the house for the housemates? Oh, there's plenty! I guess first of all, there is plenty of space. It may not seem like a treat straight of, but believe me, try living in a two up, two down without leaving for thirteen weeks! Secondly, there is a massive pool in the garden. This could work both ways, being used as a luxury, task or even punishment. There is a bedroom for a housemate to use all by themselves and a big bath. There may also be a few treats hidden in the house waiting to be discovered... What Major Changes does this house from any other BBUK we have seen before? Firstly, and most obviously is the adaption of a split level house. This is for a roomier effect. A fish tank has been installed into the main area. The pool is much bigger and there are alot of international adaptions, including private bedrooms. The dining area is very different. Its awkwardly squashed in and looks very different to any previous design. there are plenty of seating areas to form groups etc and a bamboo swing for that random effect and possibly for any couples that may form in the house! |

First House Pictures! As we promised today will be the day you see into the new big brother house and learn a little about it! This house was designed by the fantastic conor, earler we caught up with him to ask him moe about the house!! so lets start off with the living area! Living area: A glass table and black, confortable leather sofas that seat up to four at a time consist of the stylish and colourful living area. The living area is placed to the rear of the house and grants access to the main exit, Diary room and the second level of the house. It is also pretty normal living area but for the first time not plasma in the living area! Kitchen: This area has a large preperation space. There is also a small breakfast bar and an additional round table. The oven, sink and fridge are all in close proximity once again. Ample storage space has been cleared for food ect. Dining area: Designed to be out of the way and compact, this area has impractical seating space and contains the houses only plasma. The damansk wallpaper seen at the back is a re-curring theme in this house. The dining area was inspired by the 6th series of the AU version of the show. Main area: The main area is split into a multi level, the second floor accessed via a clear perspex spiral staircase. There are multipal seating areas and plenty of colourful designs and textures on the walls. There is a large fish tank and unique furnishings. The main area is very much the 'Heart of the House' this year. Bedroom: Has a very 'Blobby' theme. The mirrors and door frames are all surrounded by white blobs. The bedsheet covers are either green or pink. As are the walls. A smaller bedroom with a very 'Farmyard' feel is accessed of the main bedroom, located upstairs. As is the main bathroom. There are four singles and the rest are doubles. Bathroom: This is a compact room, with a black and white colour scheme. The room consists of some storage shelves, a large bath and toilet and a double sink. Pretty Plain. Garden: Large and spacious, this year the garden boasts a massive pool, loots of wicker sofas, four sun beds and damansk wall papr. There is a small covered outdoor kitchen and a smoking area to the rear. A small toilet can also be accessed via the garden by the pool. |
