and i like PE but they need more sports and options to do... they dont give us options they just tell us what to do!
Exactly, you're my new favourite friend. Any hater of PE is a friend of mine.

Three lessons left of compulsory PE and counting.

Core PE = shocking

Some people take PE as an option thinking they're going to get a GCSE out of p*ssing about for 2 years but its so much more

Maybe if year 7-9 did more theory and did structured practical work then it would be better

I admit I used to skip core PE and do (funnily enough) my ICT coursework as well but that was only because I was sick of people who just moan about PE and are rubbish at it. I loved GCSE PE.

Team sports are epic lose. Ones where you play for yourself are good.

Exactly then when you make a mistake you can blame it on someone else In solo sports you've only got yourself to blame

I know, but it's also important to be able to take the blame for something you've done wrong instead of blaming people who had nuthin to do with it

Gah, I hate it, mainly due to me being bad. (I have a balance problem, so it's not like I don't try, because I do, I just fail.)

Whereas with sports where your not in a team you can see your own improvement and people won't call you a twat for doing something wrong =D

Archery and Athletics are the best sports.

EDIT;; && Go-Karting =D

We told her if she can inform the PE teachers that we were doing IT instead of going to PE, she said, "Im busy right now so we just assumed she would tell the PE teacher later" .So after we finished our coursework we didnt know what to do (as we did IT for 1 lesson and it was a Double PE lesson), so while we were making our way to PE we saw our head of year./.... she told us "Where are you 3 supposed to be?" but as we were kind of round teh corner, we turned back and ran from our head of year.

Then we got to PE and we told the teacher wher we had been, she then went mad about the IT teacher not telling the PE teachers and said "You cant just skip the lessons whenever!" (even though there was only 5 people in PE as everyone was doing cwk for eveything else).

And then the PE teacher told us "Im going to have to talk to Miss Kenny about this and then we'll see" (Miss Kienny is the head of our year that we ran away from!).

I have her for PSHE tomorrow as well, so us 3 are going to get told off for running away from her and not listening to her when she said go to PE.

Do you think im in teh right?? Everyoen skips PE to do their cwk!! Doing it is better than doing PE when there, GCSES are more improtant
I was in a similar situation last week - I skipped a Modern Studies lesson to revise for my external speaking exam for German; prioritising right? Apparently not - my MS teacher's been a total ass to me ever since, and we have coursework due for him on Monday and he's not helped me with it at all. Best thing you can do is be honest, don't try and lie your way out of it, just tell your year head honestly that you know it was wrong but you felt it was more important to complete coursework on time, and BE APOLOGETIC!! That's about all you can do . Good luck!

Good luck either way! It's so bad when that happens though, it's not like we're skiving off class, we are actually doing work, but they don't see our point of view. I apologised but I don't think he understood that I wasn't doing it because I don't like going to class, or that I was doing it because I felt like a few extra free periods, it was to revise for an exam. Ugh. Oh well, back to my dissertation...

LOL that's nothing compared to what I've done to avoid lessons.

Tbh GCSEs are hardly important and an hour of PE wouldn't have cost your coursework much, you could do that any time - YOU NEED EXERCISE! must've been annoying though
