Eugene gave an Oscar worthy performance of a man believing he was a chicken when the hypnotic Melvin the Magnificent said his trigger word.

Eugene immediately affected the gait of a chicken and looked panicked to find himself in a House instead of a coop. Clucking away, he began pecking at the window in alarm, frightened by the unseen barrier that kept him from the garden outside.

Using one of his arm-like wings, he managed to open the sliding door and get out to the grass outside.

Once in the open air, Eugene knelt down and began pecking at the ground excitedly, clucking and squawking. The sight of Eugene pretending he was a chicken disturbed Maksoi and Craig, who thought he was actually hypnotised.

"It's not funny," said Makosi.

"It's ridiculous," said Craig.

When Melvin brought Eugene back, he woke to wonder how he got outside and what he was doing on his knees.

He said he was "embarrassed" that he had been made to act like a chicken under hypnosis.

Sounds like there could be a queue to complain to Big Brother...
