Default THE DIARY ROOM!!!!

For the record...I've said this years ago (to myself!)

But i think the diary room should be attached to the main living room!!
But the door should be clear glass..so that the housemates can see whats happening in the diary room!!

At either side of the glass door..would be an extended glass wall. ie. the front wall of the diary room would be totally glass!!

Just imagine a glass wall!!!

*Nominations would be intense!!

*Also it's going back to the psychology aspect of big brother!! Other housemates trying to read body language!

*Remember in previous series where housemates would act totally different in the diary room!?....Well i believe this would end all that!

*Also it's being true to the saying "big brother is always watching you"

*Although housemates can see what's happening/ They wont be able to hear conversations!

Also if producers needed to enter the diary room for task reasons etc. Then BB would have control of an electric blind, similar to that used in the bedroom/patio area in previous series!

What Do You Think!??

Haha, love the copyright sign

One problem though, if housemates want to leave how will they?

I'd rather have it that people inside the diary room can see out as this would encourage bitching!

The diary room is the one place where housemates can go if they are feeling sad or whatever, if people can see into the diary room, they will know everything (people crying etc)

It might look good, but in reality they need a space where they can privately talk to the housemates, especially when the housemates speak to the psychologists.

I would love if people in the diary room could see out into the living area.

Good idea for the people seeing them etc but a lot of HMs would close up and not talk as much.
And i just thought if one was crying, it would be sooo funny.

Simple... It's not a problem!
If housemates want to leave.. they simply leave!!

Who cares if the housemates see you exit/being kicked out/secret eviction etc!?
What's the big secret!

I'd much prefer to watch the housemates reactions as their "new best friend" gets the boot, without even saying good bye!!

Imagine the tear/tantrums!!!

Picture: watching the housemate exit....they would all be totally banging on the glass in a pool of tears

Ps- That abouve statement only counts if people got kicked out/secret eviction etc!
-----
And as for you saying

"I'd rather have it that people inside the diary room can see out as this would encourage bitching!"

I believe if the glass were clear at both ends..it would multiply curiosity, drama, tension, bitching. etc

That's the whole point!!!!

No privacy!!! Imagine that!!!

If they wanna be in the public eye let this be a lesson that their privacy disappears after a show like this!!

Exactly. Being able to see in defeats the purpose of the Diary Room.

i think people in the diary room should be able to see the house but people in the house cant see people in the diary room because that would stop them bitching.
wasnt that the reason why they out the bb9 diary room outside the main house so that the housemates would feel that nobody could hear them and therefore have a good moan

The point of the diary room is so that the housemates can speak to big brother in confidence!

With my idea they still speak in confidence!

Nobody hears the conversations!

Hence, it's still a diary room!!

The point of the diary room is indeed so that the housemates can speak to Big Brother in confidence.

But you can't speak to Big Brother in confidence knowing that other people can see in, and probably hear if they come up close enough - I doubt they could get a glass wall that soundproof.

Maybe they could use that special glass they had before, so that BB can toggle on or off the visibility of the diary room, possibly as a secret punishment for nominations disccusers etc?

My Response To These points-

"You can't speak to Big Brother in confidence knowing that other people can see in"-

OF COURSE YOU CAN SPEAK TO BIG BROTHER IN CONFIDENCE KNOWING PEOPLE CAN SEE IN! IF YOUR NOT CONFIDENT ABOUT DOING SO.. THEN THATS AN INSECURITY. BTW- THIS SHOULD NOT BE AN EASY RIDE FOR HOUSEMATES. WHATS WITH ALL THE SYMPATHY?

"and probably hear if they come up close enough" - LET THEM COME UP TO THE GLASS! IMAGINE THE ARGUMENTS..

HM1- "WHY WERE U TRYING TO LISTEN TO MY CONVO"
HM2- "I KNOW U WERE TALKING BOUT ME B**CH!! I HEARD YOU!!"
HM1- "I HATE THIS HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!! I'VE NO PRIVACY"

**WEATHER HM2 HEARD THE CONVO REMAINS A MYSTERY**

I doubt they could get a glass wall that soundproof- YOU ACTUALLY CAN! WHAT DO YOU THINK THEY USE IN RADIO STATIONS/ PRISONS ETC. (iTS POSSIBLE)

Dont like this idea cos it beats the point of having a diary room. Its where people can carelessly tell the truth about how they feel about others. And i think the curiosity of what other housemates are doing it the diary room is bad enough.
