Default Would you prefer launch night VTs to be shown after HM go into house?

Usually on launch night, us viewers see the housemate's VT and then that person goes into the house. Often it leads to the crowd booing the housemate based on a little 30 second edit.

Would you prefer it if it was the other way round? So, the housemate is introduced by Davina as "Joe Bloggs", they go into the house. And then the VT is shown after he's in the house?

I think this would be a better strategy to take and would be fairer on the people entering the house.

Your thoughts?

What do you mean by "no build up"?

There doesn't need to be much build-up. Davina could say?: Name, Age, Occupation and then those funny facts she does.

And then the VT shown.

I don't see a problem with that.

In fact, it would be better in my opinion as it gives every housemate an even chance when enterting the house, instead of being judged by the crowd on a 30 second edit.

I don't like how the crowd boo's after like a 3 second video and that's it set for the series. I mean a housemate says a bad word and then the whole crowd goes into apocalypse mode and cry bloody murder.
It's a nice idea but I wouldn't like it personally :L
It's just the crowd who annoy me sometimes.

Just show them to viewers, not to the crowd.

Yes. Just have a brief intro with name, age, location, and then Davina doing her facts as they walk into the house, and then after a couple minutes of live house action we get to find out more about them in their profile VT, before going on to the next HM.

I'd rather they just get rid of the crowd, unless they cheer for everyone. It is really annoying when a housemate gets booed before they even enter the house, it just makes the show so negative from the off.

It's not like they are even booing based on stuff said in the VT's most of the time. Because last year Dale said some horrible stuff in his VT, yet he still got cheered because he's a male and he's "fit", whereas most of the attractive women got booed.

I like the concept of VT and entrance. Having someone go in and have the VT after, sorta loses credibility. It's like the Maury Show, no buildup, and then bam, impact right after. In a show like Big Brother, they want the impact before they enter, so I'd keep it as is.
