God, imagine her ego now.
No disrespect to anyone in the final, but I was rather disappointed with the final line up - the eyes all a bit too predictable. Perhaps we need to all go Eurovision and get a jury involved next year to avoid any block voting in Eastern Europe!

I dont get why people are disappointed, the winner is the person who got the most votes... it's fair. I didn't vote for personality or anything, just on the eye. If I was voting friends I would of voted Sam because I talk to him the most out of them all but I didn't.

Technically, it is allowed.
In last year's competition, entrants were allowed to post two accompanying graphics with their eye to show how it would be applied in other uses. These graphics were only visible in the entries thread, and the main entries carried on in the heats. This year, I decided that - in order to keep things simple - no additional graphics should be posted in the entries thread. Therefore, the rule only really applied to the entries thread. So I cannot disqualify elliebrew because: 1) I did not explicitly specify that only 'press' versions of eyes (i.e. flat copies of the logo with nothing else to them) could be entered 2) Elliebrew only posted that one version of her logo and nothing else in the entries thread 3) It would be unfair on Elliebrew for me to disqualify it because, if it had broken rules, I should have disqualified it before heats began. Maybe there was a mistake somewhere, and if I made one then I apologise. I guess I'll just have to tighten procedures next year. |
