Default The Official Scottish Exams Thread!

Well... there's a GCSE thread, and an AS and A2 thread. So here's the Scottish one!

So what are you all doing?

Standard Grades, Int.1's, Int.2's, Highers, or Advanced Highers?

Here's the place to talk about them!

Standard Grades, Int.1's, Int.2's, Highers, or Advanced Highers?

I've had Advanced Higher English and German so far; English went really well, perfect question came up for me and I'd already done 70% of the course before the exam so I'm really hoping for an A in that! German was alright, the reading and translation were better than they normally are but the listening, not so much, and the essay was a joke - I made it up as I went along.

I've got AH Modern Studies on Monday and then I'm finished!! So pleased.

What subjects have you taken JD?

I did Int 2 Maths last year, the exam was ridiculously easy I thought, like I felt I'd wasted a whole year learning how to do a bunch of stuff that didn't even come up in the exam. Ach well. Apparently I got full marks in one of the papers, that was a good moment haha.

My english was a pain though, the format of the papers means it's 3 A4 sheets all in one sheet. but the desks we had in school where only 2.5 A4 sheets wide so i had NO room! i ended up getting a dirty look of the invidualtor for tearing my paper so it would fit onto the one desk!
