Default Too many becoming housemates?

Is it just me or does anyone else think there are far too many people who have already gained housemate status and its only been one day?!

As far as I know 7 have already become housemates.. almost half!

I thought the point was that we get to choose who WE want to watch for the summer.. at this rate there'll be like 2 to choose from on Sunday...

I think that they will have 12 going through becoming Hms based on tasks, and then the remaining 4 go up against the public vote and we vote the 2 people that we want to be real HMs, sending the other 2 home meaning we will have 14 HMs.

Well I am kinda hoping that half of these housemates leave and we get some better ones. I hate the pick of HMs this year.

Lisa is a housemate so she's safe but you might get your wish with the others

There's a few too many "strange" characters.

I wouldnt have minded if they had put some average people in. The "normal" ones always end up being the most entertaining.

Exactly. Producers have clearly thought, we need crazy people for a crazy show. But crazy people cannot be entertaining all the time.
I like just like regular people, like BB2 and BB3.

I've missed out - been watching election results today. Who has gained HM status since Lisa and Kris please

Would have been watching LF if there had been any!

I'm fine with just 1 HM going tbh, I don't want any potentially big characters to go.

yeah i agree... it is a little weak!

i was hoping for a full on batch of compeititons where winners get rights but losers do not get in the house.

we get a few bizarre tasks that the desperate will always do!

it's hardly the dynamite shock they were promising.

ok, but just that ok. not pioneering

This 'Big twist' is crap then. It's just another nominations swindle whereby everyone who doesn't gain housemate status in a task will face eviction. Then the ones who survive eviction will be given housemate status anyway. So, in the end only one of them will be a non housemate and evicted. Crap. We've had this twist a million times.

Exactly... it was supposed to be they earn housemate status or they DON'T.

Instead its earn housemate status.. or you face the public vote and may possibly be evicted?!

Totally not what I was expecting.
