I doing a essay on censership and how film makers have trouble in different time.
SO far i have Childs Play 3, Clockwork Orange and The Exorcist? Can you help me think off any more, i was thinking of the holy grail? Thanks |

Not really censorship but in, Pride and Prejudice (Keira Knightly and Matthew Macfayden) the ending was changed here because it wasn't accurate enough to the book. In American it ended with Darcy and Elizabeth Kissing but here it just ended with Elizabeth's father laughing. It was cute out of respect for the novel.
Probably nothing like what you are asking, it is the only one I can think of remotely like it. LOL |

Banned
|
Well you could write about how films were banned during the 'video nasties' period in the 80's. That's a form of censorship, films like Evil Dead and I Spit on Your Grave. They even banned a PG rated Dolly Parton film called 'The Best little *****house in texas' because they thought it was pornographic from the title.
I can't think of many recent examples but look for films during the 80's, there was loads of films banned and censored then. |
