Default Last Year\'s Live Feed Official Ratings [and all merged threads]

Live feed ratings higher than claimed

Live feed averaged at almost 500,000

New figures reveal that the live feed ratings are higher than have previously been claimed. More than the ‘mere thousands’ which were previously released.

The data was obtained by Big Brother website, BB Online. It reveals that the daily average viewers for live feed on Channel 4 and E4 last year combined was 480,000.

Channel 4 previously claimed that the live feed figures was in the ‘mere thousands’.

So, what is the real reason behind the live feed axe? It looks as though it was actually getting a fair amount of viewers afterall.

Remember to sign the live feed petition at www.bringbacklivefeed.co.uk. It has almost 1000 signatures.

Keep an eye out!

Default New live feed figures leaked channel 4 lies to viewers

Visit inside Big brother dot net to read the full article. Basically live feed was hitting the half a million mark which for e4 or red button is extremly good. So now we have night time live feed the only thing preventing the housemates being awake is fred so vote him out. Please visit the site and see or check out all the new angry face book groups they wont be hard to find because Theres loads.

The C4 Top Brass don't want this show and havent for years. C4 also have been talking about how to get rid of it and replace the money it makes for years. They don't want BB, no matter how much you do, and because of that they are willing to kill the show.

Read this from 2007;

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...d-Puttnam.html

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/ukne...g-Brother.html

http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv-entertain...name_page.html

Quote; "You have got to go some to replace that, but we will do it at some point, of course we will. We are in a long period of transition, but we will do it." Lord Puttnam acknowledged that time had eroded what he termed Channel 4's "sense of purpose.

But he went on: "We shall renew that sense of commitment and sense of purpose and get that 'DNA' back in another context."

Some elements within C4 used to be able to defend it due to the massive revenue it earnt.

It no longer earns this revenue, so noone can any longer defend it's existance.

C4 are now misrepresenting it's viewing figures, cutting it's funding, and generally running BB into the ground in order to justify it's termination.

They have simply given up on BB and are just going through the motions to fulfil contractural obligations.

Fans be damned. They have made their money off you now. Screw you.

This is streaming not live feed? People refer to streaming as Channel 4/E4 live, and feed as the red button. Little mix up here methinks but I doubt anyone will pick up on this post anyway

I would give anything for this link to work again:
http://virginmedia.premiumtv.co.uk/bigbrother_live

Why can't they just bring Live streaming on the internet ;(

Should we send this idea to c4?

Nothing against you Nick, and please do not take this the wrong way, but I wish people would get it.

They don't care. They don't want BB. They dont give a crap about how much we do or how much money we have paid them in the past.

BB is dead man walking to C4.

Ok, fair enough point.
All I really want is like them 3/4 hours of live feed on e4 during the day lol.

But like you said they don't care. Who cares.

I think they did it because they wanted more people to watch the highlights show. They thought if they scrapped 24/7 live feed then more fans would want to watch the highlights instead...

"I hate C4, im gonna Sky+ every big brother, then they wont get my rating. "

Won't that just reinforce their belief that no-one is watching?

Guys, please read the links I posted above?

It tells you why C4 are killing this show, in the words of the top brass.

Same product, different ways of consuming it. Doesn't really matter which one people are complaining about as long as the complaints are going to the right place (C4).

The streaming in question (ie Channel 4 and E4 streaming) is still in place so there is nothing to complain about in that respect. That is what the figures are for but people are misconstruing them and seeing them as red button 24 hour feed.

I imagine considering the red button was only available on Sky/VM and not many people knew about it anyway, figures were significantly low as Channel 4 claim and nowhere near half a million.

I think they are subtly trying to give this show its demise. I think that Channel 4 don't think that this show is relevant anymore, thus them not bothering with it at all.

All forms have had a reduction and even if they hadn't it'd still be valid to complain that you want more. Spot on about the red button tho.
