Default It\'s official - I\'ve stopped

After 10 years, I've given up on Big Brother, I've stopped watching the daily shows and don't have any intention of going back. Partly to do with the quality of the series and the fact of no live feed so we don't know how its being edited half them time. It's mostly because I don't find it entertaining anymore and it became a chore.

I'M FREEEE.

I'm getting there. This series seemed so promising at the start ... atm I'm watching due to a quickly waning loyalty to the show and because there is nothing else on

The thought of another 12 weeks ....

I'll just end up dipping in and out of this series

lol I havnt watched it yet, but i saw 5 minutes, big brother is about them the producers, showing off making it to start with see my other thread if you want to know. But yeh its stil a show and I love the fact with all their power and money and media at their disposal, freemasons failed! hahhaha hahaha hahahah

But yeh I think personally the show is doing **** so they have less money and the tasks couldnt be shitter! They do count on bullying to make ratings fly now they cant as much there messed!

There fault looking for masons to go on the show instead of normal nutters!

Sophie look OK but is nothing besides tits

Karly is also boring , just looks half OK and sounds nice, even though I dont undertsnad her.

Sree, is cool, funny, feel for him.

Sivash is tryna blend in pretend he likes cairon who hopefully will go soon!

Angel, is weird

Rodrigo Weird

Homophobic comments are NOT allowed

Kris He dont look all that and is boring too.

who else?

Lisa, another lesi, ewww, too old and boring and stropy cow to be on BB

Marcus, his doing ma nuts, always bitching! Thinks his special but he aint!

Forget the rest, out of all the people interviewed this is what they could do , ashame. lol

But yeh, BB failing is good, f illuminati too and there satanic symbology!

I'm not as hooked as I used to be, I watch it when I can but if I happen to miss a show it's no longer the end of the world.

The problem with this series is on paper it does sound really good, I had the overview for tonights highlights sent to me earlier and they sounded really good. But it doesn't translate well on screen purely because we've seen it all before. If this came after BB7 I'm sure it would be a huge success but the shock factor no longer works and BB9 shown more normal people works much better these days.

This is my first BB UK experience. Although, I think the show is terrible put together it's been all right. The US version, in my opinion, is a better product but none the less will continue to watch...

Are you American? If you are then its unfair to say ours is badly put together. The British don't like intense games and this for us was originally a social experiment. People watched the first series as a reality show, not a game show, so its just very ordinary, no clever editing or dramatic music, just a day in chronological order of the best bits of the day. It took off as that format and that has essentially remained throughout the shows history.

If you want to watch a UK Big Brother how its properly done, then I strongly recommend watching BB5 (2004) or 6 (2005) ... especially if you like game play, those are the closest ours get to it though it isn't a central feature. Otherwise BB3 (2002) and 9 (2008) would also be good picks. Or for a shorter series Celebrity Big Brother 4 (2006) was amazing and only about 3 weeks long.

eh? Then why are you guys who have stopped and are 'free' still coming to BB forums?

Judging an entire series by one show as well? Kinda silly... Yesterdays show was great, this one not that good, so what? BBs nature means that will happen.

If I give something up I give it up... not a half job of giving it up and then going to forums to read about it or whatever...

Most are just here for the community and off topic chat these days, Big Brother doesn't seem to be a priority anymore.

I'm still watching it I'm just not into it as much as I was. It probably won't turn me away from the next Celeb BB or BB11 ... I isolate each series and whether I watch the next one doesn't really depend on the last one.

Its an OK series, not the best, not the worst. But theres nothing else on so it can stay on as background noise.

I'm finding it increasingly dull. It's a struggle to watch now.

I seem to more hooked than I usually am because I have the time to stay up watching live feed at stupid o'clock in the morning. But idk, the highlights show irritates me because they're so edited around like one main person, like right now it's ridiculously edited around Sree & Norin.

I'm finding it hard to watch this year, I enjoy it yes and I support some housemates, but the lack of live feed is just making it drag and its making me think about what we're actually seeing - how much is edited and things like that.
