About 20 million people died in russia during the early 20th century, from being ethnically cleansed by stalin and starvation in the country side. The land was farmed by community but the state had to get the lions share, therefore people starved on some of the best land in europe.

I really didn't listen in history, didn't do it as a GCSE so my history knowledge is shocking.
