Default I\'m moving school - advice wanted

Hey ppl

For the 6th form im moving school - and im moving to a state school so i kinda dunno how everything works, and i think im gonna find the whole private to state school change rather strange!
I went to a state primary school but things have changed as i imagine
Im gonna miss my friends because my old private school was small and everybody knew who everyone else was - my new 6th form school is the 8th largest school in England!

Please can ppl give me some advice as im quite stressed and apprehensive - and i only found out that i was definately moving today

aww

im starting ma 2nd year at 6th form and its in quite a large school.

it wont be as bad has you think and the 6th form probs wont be that big compared to the rest of the school
also something i found out is that 6th forms are quite close and people look out for and support each other

also 6th form classes are quite small so im sure you will make new friends quick!

dont worry about it you will be fine

yeah you will

6th forms are really close

plus if its anything like mine will have 1 or 2 head teachers(heads of 6th form) who are always there for support if ya need it

also you should have some good 6th form parties

Moving from private to states education really isn't that big a deal, depending on which particular states school you are moving to. In my experience, there can be huge differences in states schools.

I am sure you will be fine Sol. I think you will find it a bit more easy going especially as your going to be in 6th form. Good luck dude.
