i think it's a good thing he doesn't mix with the nasties, could lose him fans, and his character and individuality has made him the ftw.

He TRIES to mix all the time though, you've got it wrong. He sits with them chatting, smoking and whatnot. Even last night. He has 1 on 1 convos with Sree, Karly, Lisa etc. And flirts etc with Charlie. He does try.

But he isn't accepted as part of the main group. It's not a tactic of his to be a loner and get nominated every week. It just panned out that way. He doesn't know that forumites dislike the main social group.
