... when I see him on livefeed I realise that if I had to live with him I would either be very annoyed by him and probably not like him or be bemused by him and humour him in a way that Siavash often does.

He is just a bit odd. I have nothing against eccentricity but I can see how it would make it difficult for people to relate to him. Yes, his speech and his huge self confidence which often borders on arrogance are probably products of a priviledged upbringing and a private and then Oxbridge education but his other eccentricities and mannerisms are not. They are not really typical of a private schooled/oxbridge educated person. It doesn't make the other housemates stupid because they can't relate to him - I'll admit some of the others; aka dogface and kool kris are not that bright although I think kris is dumbing himself down because he'll thinks it'll endear him to the public - but I've noticed that Freddie fans often accuse anyone who doesn't like him of being either a) stupid or b) not respectful of other people/ not able to appreciate a well spoken and well mannered person and this just isn't true. And Freddie rarely does mention his intelligence/education and is the first to acknowledge how intelligent the other people in the house are.

I still want him to win, but mostly because I don't like the rest and I do feel he has been picked on. BUT I can understand why the others don't like him. He is an oddball and I can see why it might be difficult to relate to him.

i don't think he's annoying in the slightest, seriously i'd love to hear peoples reasons for why he's annoying.

For starters, he pushes conversation even when the other HM's are unwilling to talk. He did this last night with Karly and he's done it a couple of times with Kris. If he had any amount of emotional intelligence then he'd back off in a conversation if a person was unwilling to talk about a certain subject..

he blummin' well IS patronising. But he doesn't mean to be. Public school kids are taught to control and give orders. the rest of us are taught to take orders off them.

No it's not - he doesn't use words they don't understand that's the point I'm making. It's not only his intelligence that singles him out from the group it's his eccentricities and I think they are mostly unrelated to his education and intelligence. Not everyone who's smart like him is like that.

I dont see why its a problem with him being paranoid is. Its his 4th time in a row up! If i was him, I would be purposley be annoying the HMs, I mean if they are to keep nominating me whether Im nice or whether Im annoying, I might as well have fun with it, and I think that Freddie has realised that... why should he not be annoying?? If i was up 4 times in a row, I would be so pissed off, that I would be annoying every single HM.

I think its rude to press a subject with someone who doesnt want to talk about that subject. As I've said before, Freddie may be very intellectually intelligent but he has a very low emotional intelligence.
