Default This next week is going to be hard to watch

I don't feel like there's ever been a bigger divide between two groups in the house. Part of why I watch the show is the lolz that result from socialisation. Other series have had better dynamics, I feel. I really don't want to spend a week watching one group lying there sunning themselves while the other make pleasant conversation in the living room because they're bored and isolated.

Do you agree? What are some other examples from Big Brother history where houses have been divided similarly? (Maxwell/Saskia vs. ethnics, homosexuals, and weirdos springs to mind.)

Is this week going to be hard to watch?

I hate when there are obvious divides within the house, I find it difficult to watch because everyone reverts back to schoolground insults and bitching.

Another one I remember was "the jungle cats" that seemed to stick together exclusively, but was not as bad as what I imagine the following week will be like.

I think it all depends on how team dumb react to halfwit still being in the house. Part of me wants it all to just develop nicely and peacefully. But there's another part of me that worries about the publics short attention spans and wants the idiots to continue to dig their holes. I don't know. All I can say is I loved their reactions to Halfwit staying. Classic

I think what I meant was that I want to see as many different housemates interacting with each other as possible. I want subplots.... I want people to form new friendships, form new disputes (e.g. a rift between Kris and Charlie, or an unexpected friendship between ... say Karly and Marcus). Stuff like that.

I think we can count on Rodrigo this week. He's a bit of a sleeper agent for lols.

But all Kris can do is sun himself or walk away if anyone uses any big words. Sophie is painfully, painfully shy. I hope she gets a better edit soon.

They were talking earlier about how tonight was the first night that they'd all sat around as one group and had a laugh together. Halfwit was laughing and joking with Dogface and Karly. Marcus was having a joke with Lisa Kris and Charlie. When boozegate all kicked off Lisa sided with Rodrigo against Charlie and bitched about Kris and Charlie to Siavash.

The groups that were seem to have dissipated. Rather than becoming more entrenched in their groups they have become less. The house is more united than it was a couple of days ago. There are cracks that have formed in Lisa's group.

In other words the OP couldn't be more wrong.

I wouldn't bank on Sophie though, think now that Fredstar stayed Lisa will get back to building bridges, it won't be long until Karly or Kris burn it down though.
