oh and sadly! this is a poem i wrote about him a year after! therapy!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------ To The Gravedigger Lies came from your mouth, Waterfalls into a dark abyss. Why hold me like I’m yours? With the warmth of ice A biting cold bedmate? I believed you once. You tasted me salty tears And you held me close … But I disappeared To lay in wonder alone. “Come-in, come-in” And you hurt me with blood thrusting That took my breath away And you took my shattering smiles from those empty days. For what have I been To you my stale friend? A hollow gesture gone. Gone for another’s lonely smile. Just another crawling defeat upon your sordid pile. Yet I am more Than bare eyed lies Of frantic and feeble arrogance Of scars on an actors face To be bore across the years. For history impairs Shapes and moulds Your decorated, yet empty soul That has been And shall always be Detached and futile With graves as gaunt trophies. |
