i wasn't suggesting for one moment that they have created an aesthetically pleasing show..... i just believe that it's become more than the sum of it's parts and highlighted a bankruptcy of spirit and values in our own society and, as such it does give us a view into the culture we have formed. whether you like it or not, it's a part of our common language and, for the more observant viewer, it does paint a graphic picture of our times. and actually you were the first to draw comparisons between art and the show by introducing shakespeare to our conversation, so don't have a pop at me for trying to define it on the same grounds.
