She said she comes from money & I think she married into it also...so I reckon the ring was v. expensive & better off at home!

Hira is a Muslim, in the islamic faith rings are not part of the nikkah(wedding contract) however they are also not forbidden, depends on her husband and her own view on whether she should wear one.
