Totally agree with the OP..... I myself haven't posted at times in threads as they have either made be so annoyed i'd post something i'd regret (and i have dignity!) or it would just fuel the fire of the argument

I don`t like tea so am having a coffee, anyway some times there are posts on here that i find get quite nasty. Am never sure if they are friends mucking about or if they`re serious so i tend not to give an opinion. I joined tibb as i have no one to talk to about BB and it`s good to hear other peoples opinions.

It is 100% up to the mods to change the situation. Either they start cracking down on the trolls and arguments or the board will just stay the same. Or get worse maybe.

There is really nothing we can do about it directly. I mean, we can ignore or yell or whatever to the trolls, but they don't leave. And they create all of these other accounts so that they are yelling at their target in different names.

The one thing we COULD do is to start a thread which is addressed to the mods in the title. Sort of a petition to crack down on troll behavior.

Good thread. I was a member here in 2007 and it was much the same then and shows nothing really changes! There will always be those out there who wish to instigate arguments. They hide behind usernames and are living in their own little worlds.
Don't feed them and avoid the hassle.

I agree. I have had to put two people on ignore lately, because some individuals can't seem to get into a debate without turning it into a childish slanging match.
