Tom is a non issue - yes she fancies him but we all have little crushes on people that never come to anything, it doesn't make her anything other than confused about her true feelings due to the extreme nature of the bb house.

and I'm pretty sure that alot have people have questioned their true feelings before thinking about going into a new relationship
