I think at times it has been interesting, and in brief spells excellent, but despite BB rather than because of BB. The format feels very tired and stale, little thought has gone into the tasks and it is clear the housemates are bored brainless and under-stimulated. It almost feels cruel.

BB need, if they are to continue, to stop picking people who jump up and down, scream the loudest, and tick all the "controversial boxes" at the auditions. We get the carbon copy stereotypes every year and are sick of them. Regular people with some intelligence are far more interesting than the hyperactive, brainless wannabes but I guess they are less likely to audition.

Something does need to change but this year has a "winding down" feel with a particularly disinterested Big Brother. I cannot see it continuing past the current contract.
