That's exactly the impression I got from his chat with Bea. He does have a hell of a lot of hidden aggression. To me he almost threatened her v.subtely.

Yep, but he may have underestimated how quickly word of mouth travels round the house (remember Charlie literally running to the next room to report on Kenny's threat), as well as the fact that arrogant newbies go down as well as a bucket of cold sick.
