Default Glasgow

Did anyone watch that thing last night about Glasgow's knife culture?!

I was suprised there was a place in Britain like that, nevermind such a well known city! And to think i was going to go there for a weekend to the clubs! Haha, i'd rather go to Butlins!

Was shocking to hear that out of 2000 people that were stopped by police over 200 had knifes, machettes, samuri's etc....

From what they made out last night, it's like a warzone in some parts.

Gangs are everywhere and the only way they know to defend themselves is by using there knifes. Never knew it was that bad to be honest.... when people describe it, they make it out to be a nice place.

Maybe the program was just highlighting the outer ring of areas in Glasgow and not the main centre.

Hey, I'm from Glasgow! Cmere so I can kick yer head in!

Nah, JK.. I'm not from Glasgow, but, I have been up there a few times. I reckon it's just like anywhere else. It has it's good and it has it's bad. I live in a wee town, so I personally wouldn't like to live up there, but I could say the same about any city.

I missed the programme. What was it called and what channel was it on? It will probably be repeated.

Aberdeen's far worse, my older brother got a black eye and a broken tooth at a work night out. Someone took a knife out as well!

No, but I mean there's teenagers that go to my school that are threatening each other with knives, and teachers too. Scotland's the most violent country in the developed world apparently!

London's no better. Fortunately, I live right on the border, so I can escape to Kent where it's not so bad.

You know why? The police don't deal with all the neds who break the law, so they go around thinking that they are above the law, and terrorise neighbourhoods.

It's going to end up being mobrule V vigilantes, and someone will get murdered. I can see it slowly getting worse where I live too.
