As for all this offense. If 100 white people were to say they were offended by turbans, would the govt. ban sikhs from wearing them?
yet again, I couldnt agree more - and then we're meant to recognise things like "Diwali" - dont get me wrong im ready to embrace race and culture - but not if the other races/religions in our society dont accept traditionnel "white" celebrations - im no racist, im just being fair

Just another point to this conversation - my parents told me they saw on the front page of a newspaper - "Piggybanks banned" because apparently they offend muslims or buddhas - have the people who make these rules been taking their pills?!

Think how much money the council spends to make sure we are all aware of things like Ramadan etc.

We musnt upset Muslims, but what about the rest of us?

Surely we should cater for the masses?

They ought to put more money and effort into re-thinking why exactly our troops are out in the middle-east, instead of paying stuffed suits to come up with stupid ideas about what may or may not offend.

Maybe if our troops weren't out there fighting a pointless war, then people wouldn't be bombing our buses, and there would be more money spent on making Britain a better place to live.
