I wasn't too bothered about this programme, but Tony Blackburn winning how amusing.

Tara deserved to win, because Tony was boring & fake. But lets be honest the public were led in to Tony winning by the sheep dog, and they all went into the field like good little sheep.

lol

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
(that's a chat up line in this neck o' the woods you know!! )

I always loved Tony Blackburn when I was a kid, always listened to his show, cringed at his jokes, cried at the intimate details of his divorce, etc. When I grew up (no sarky comments please!) I found him totally naff and embarrassing, but this last 2 weeks has brought back all the reasons I thought he was so great. I really didn't expect to like him so much, but he struck a chord with me. When he said in an interview "I thought nobody liked me!!" I thought it summed him up. He's just a nice guy who's just completed a difficult task for charity, hoping to pick up some new fans along the way. He never expected to win and looked completely overcome when his name was called out .... oooh! Anyone getting a feeling of deja vu???

I agree Ig and I also blushingly admit to listening to him when I was younger.

I quite liked Tara at the start of the show but by the end of the 2 weeks her childish tantrums were getting so annoying that I would have wanted anyone else to win.

I am tempted to say something about age but I won't. I think his humour is not well suited to me, I got embarrassed and pressed mute!

I found all this doodle do stuff slightly annoying too, and his voice.

But he is a 'nice' guy
