The Twilight hype would have died before the time those three movies are released, so there's no point.

3 films = big mistake. It could work well as two though, in fact it would pretty much have to be split in two in order for them not to ruin it.

take that 3 films comment with a huge pinch of salt the site that started saying it is known for its bullshit rumours they can do it in one film just make it longer titanic and other work fine as a 3 hour film also a lot of stuff in the book wouldnt need to be added cos its just jacob chatting to leah and seth
also with regards to the stuff that could make it a more adult rated film (as a older fan i'm happy for that ) stephenie does a very good job of fade to black in the books it doesnt need to be a full sex scene just enough clues that you as the person watching makes their own conclusion of what is going on same with the birth scene which is another risky one with regards to the supposed audience given the story is from bellas point of view they could do it with a hazy blackness with punctuated flash scenes rather than the whole thing

oh and side note a lot of the cast have landed in vancouver ready for rehersals for eclipse

From a financial point of view 3 BD films would be very tempting for studios as it would undoubtedly triple the overall gross however creatively it would be a mess. It just wouldn't work as a trilogy of films, if it was a TV drama it'd work but not as films.

I think they'll probably end up splitting it into two as then the fans are happy that much more stuff gets included and the studio is happy because they'd get double the gross. The only bad side of it is from a studio perspective is that both films would have to be placed closely together so depending on their placements the studio could end up missing a tentpole release. Unless they do what they are doing with Deathly Hallows and have the first part in the November of whatever year it'll be released and have the concluding part 8 months later in the summer. That way the studio will have two tentpole releases.

I'd probably bet money on BD being split up into two.

on the pratical side of things there is only so much make up i mean rob is 23 now and is even now i think struggling to look 17 so fast foward to sometime next yr for the beginning of filming so by stringing it out they will be playing a big risk there i'd much rather a longer single film

If they were to film it in multiple parts though they'd film both parts back to back as one production. Like what they did with Lord of the Rings and Deathly Hallows.

Eclipse will wrap up production in a few months time. They could keep the current pace and have the first part of BD out by 2011.

He won't age badly in two years and Hollywood makeup can work miracles. It's entirely possible. I hope they do a two parter now after all this talk.

It'd cut off any new fans from seeing it though, they'll try and get a low rating as possible as it allows more for more of the target audience to see it.

Jodelle Ferland has become the latest addition to the cast of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, according to Variety.

The 14-year-old actress has reportedly been cast in the role of a "vampire who has just been turned", although her actual character has yet to be confirmed.

Ferland previously starred in 2006 horror film Silent Hill, and has recently finished production on Case 39 alongside Renee Zellweger.

She is the third new addition to the vampire franchise, following news that Australian newcomer Xavier Samuel has been cast as college student Riley and that Bryce Dallas Howard will replace Rachelle Lefevre in the role of Victoria.

Production on Eclipse is scheduled to begin later this month for a June 2010 release.
I'm guessing she'll be playing Bree?

Jack Huston has signed on to appear in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The actor will star as Royce King II, a human who lived during the Great Depression and was engaged to Rosalie Hale (Nikki Reed).

Production on the third instalment in the Twilight franchise is scheduled to begin in Vancouver later this month.

Huston is the grandson of director John Huston and the nephew of actors Angelica Huston and Danny Huston.

He can next be seen starring in ABC's Eastwick, a television adaptation of the 1980s movie starring Cher, Susan Sarandon and Michelle Pfeiffer.

At least we know Rosalie's bit is definately in.

There's a new small 'mini' trailer (Like 10 seconds long, more like a quick advert) at IGN.
