Default Famous wrestler dies aged 38.

WWE is deeply saddened by the news that Eddie Guerrero has passed away. He was found dead this morning in his hotel room in Minneapolis. Eddie is survived by his wife Vickie and daughters Kaylie Marie, Shaul and Sherilyn.

what, did he commit suicide then?

Edit... I found this

MINNEAPOLIS - A World Wrestling Entertainment star was found dead in his hotel room Sunday in Minneapolis, where he was scheduled to appear that evening in a WWE show.

Eduardo Gory Guerrero, 38, didn’t respond to a wake-up call Sunday morning, authorities said. His nephew, fellow WWE wrestler Chavo Guerrero, and hotel security at the Minneapolis Marriott City Center forced their way into the room and found him.

There were no apparent signs of foul play, police said. An autopsy was planned to determine how Guerrero died.

It's meant to have been a massive heart attack.

Oh my lord! He was one of my favourite wrestlers!! That's really terrible! 38?? Wow... It's a bit like Yokozuna a few years back. I had my photo taken with him 4 days before he died!

It is very sad - I took my daughter to see them the other year and she really enjoyed it Eddie was one of her favourites as well - he was good boy bad boy wasnt he!

What a real shame for his family though, they will have seen so little of him anyway!

You could be right. I did like the guy, from what little I saw of him.

A bit uncannily like Flo-Jo's demise in 1998:

Florence Griffith Joyner, triple gold medalist at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, has died at the age of 38. The American sprinter apparently suffered a heart seizure at her home in Mission Viejo, California.

Duncan Kennedy: "She remained an inspiration to women athletes"
Three-time world hurdles champion Greg Foster, a friend of the family, said: "We have lost one of the great track and field athletes in history. She's going to be missed. It's definitely a shock, a great loss."

Griffith Joyner, known by her fans as Flo-Jo, captivated the world with her phenomenal speed and flamboyant style but her rapid improvement and her tremendous physique fuelled rumours about performance-enhancing drugs.

Yeah, these wrestlers are so full of steroids that its a wonder that they live past 40.

A price to pay for their success.

But the thing is cc100, I really don't think they /are/ pumped up with steroids. I think that some of them work really hard to achieve peak physical condition, and then they go past their limit, and they just die. That's the only logical explanation, because they have tough rules on drug taking in the business.

Yes but some are unnaturally muscular, to the point where its hard to believe that they are not on steroids.

I know what you mean, but every single person employed by the WWF (oh wait, it's WWE. Gah.) has to be checked for performance enhancing drugs a lot, because otherwise there'd be scandals everywhere.

Fair point.

This has been discussed on another forum, and Im really just repeating their opinions.

Im not really a wrestling fan, certainly not the WWF/E.

I used to love the British wrestling in the 80s though, with Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks.
