In the first few weeks, I never thought I would ever like Marcus, but since Noirin left, he has been really growing on me, and he is definitely one of my favourites now. Anyone else agree?

I think I have been influenced by his fans on this site actually ... another thing I thought would never happen!!!

Reasons I like him now: He is proper funny, which I only realised after seeing all his one-liners written down ... my favourite is Captain Cool does not suffer from jangly nerves.

Also, he is very astute about the dynamics in the house ... he doesn't get it right every time, but he can see things more clearly than most housemates.

Also, he's not a bully, and I quite like his attitude mostly.

Any suggestions about whether I should continue with this complete change of opinion or not?

I liked Marcus initially, then went off him a bit when he mooned around after the lost cause that was Noirin. Tho even then, he could still pull out some great one liners. But you're spot on, since the wicked witch left, he's been superb, his diary room stuff is funnier than anyone else, and he seems to see what's really going on in the house better than most. I actually said to my other half last night, "I'd really quite like it if Marcus won", and I meant it!!

Feelin the same way about Marcus, when he came into the house he was one of those politically incorrect i.e correct guy's that people bash, when he is only telling uncomfortable truth's and i liked him.

But then a dark cloud desended over his head, and became infatuated, and clingy to Noirin, and he became manipulative, creepy, and annoying.

Since Noirin has gone he's been entertaining to watch, and very funny, but i'm still seing a bit of malice of thoufort in him i.e him getting angry because Dave went into the DR before he had had "Permission" to be the one that goes. Is this behind the recent arguments between everyone and Dave, has Marcus been manipulating feeling in the house to bring Dave down a peg or two, as he did with Tom?

He will never be my fav to win, because he is only likeable when he has no agenda , he is not a naturally nice guy, like, say, Hira is a naturally nice girl. But a very good BB housemate all the same.
