It is not fair on the winner to be put under Simon's influence. He will be off soon to do the next American Idol and cant be in two places at once.
Though I dont think either Sharon or Louis would vote off one of their acts however bad they were. Simon chose them so the Conways were entitled to expect his support.

I agree with all of that, other than the part about brookstain. I think the problem there was more because of his attitude problem than anything else. It got him into trouble before, during and after XF last year. After he'd started several petty arguments (which quickly became rather nasty) on his own website, the writing really was on the wall for him. Not that there ever was much of a future for a 'soul' singer with no soul in the first place, of course.
