The problem for me the viewer - it isn't coming off as hilarious or lovable or endearing.
It is coming across as a ****tard, a follower/instigator and the nerd kid who is now so excited its his big chance to be with the cool kids,
ugh,
Its really just an annoying sort of thing to watch. Slightly amusing for a minute but then kind of 'pathetic'.

In a bizarre turnabout - Charlie and Rodrigo now the Adults.
No...Charlie and Rodrigo are simpering repetitive bitchy weasels and Lisa and David are dullards. Bea has imploded up her own jacksie and Sophie is generally 'nice'. If it wasn't for the 'childish' antics of Marcus, Freddie and Siavash the programme wouldn't be worth watching. Those 3 are the most entertaining HMs on BB in years.

Hopefully the viewing public will realise that - unlike many on here...
I totally believe that 'you believe' that Marcus, Freddy and Siavash make for entertainment.
In the same way you most certainly believe 'The Transporter' is among the greatest movies alongside Transformers.
In the same way you cannot understand why anyone would watch the news or anything else when WWE Smackdown Slamboree is on the telly.

Now the good news for you - Big Brother has most definitely pandered more towards you than ever before.
In fact that is probably why you started watching Big Brother, if not its why a lot of 15 year old boys are now tuning in to see these 'crazy badasses' like 'darkhorse' like totally screw the show up and use foul-language Yeahhhhhhhh!!!!
Idiots.

ITS NOT REAL LIFE...ITS A GAMESHOW!!!!

Only the gullible David and Rodrigo go on about the BB rules as if they are the 10 commandments...why should they be? Why shouldn't HMs push it and see what happens? BB will mess with them anyway and Endemol chose these people for a reason so go with the flow I say. Its more entertaining than spending 24 hours a day smoking, bitching & sleeping (Lisa/David)

Lets look at the facts:

Sophie - broke the rules on discussing noms (several times) is anyone criticising her? Nope
Lisa - has broken the rules several times through her direct abuse of Freddie. Again... amnesia has set in.
Charlie - see above...plus all his 'jokes' on Rodrigo...rule breaking physical contact
Rodrigo - pouring oil on Charlies bed

The list goes on..

They're all guilty of breaking the rules at one time or another...woo big hairy deal get over it and entertain the viewers I couldn't give a rats as long as it's worth watching.

Bea is not clever otherwise she would realise that the BB viewers are watching her switch allegiances and generate artificial tension in order to do so...and she will pay for it if she's up for eviction. Freddie is smarter than Bea without a shadow but has trouble expressing himself when he gets emotional - plus he thought Bea was a genuine friend and clearly she isn't so he is torn/gutted. He'll come good though.

Marcus and Freddie are the only ones in there with a shred of integrity and what appears to be a genuine friendship...all the others are marriages of convenience and means to an end.

That is all well and good if that is what you find entertaining!

Many of us don't want to watch grown men showing off and behaving like little boys - could tune into one of the many children's shows if that is what we wanted!

Yes they have all broken the rules - but not to the same extent - rule breaking is now just a gameplan to some!!

I agree that Freddie has trouble expressing himself which does affect his ability to engage in debate/argument - but I believe that he does not have the 'insight' he thinks he has!
His attitude that he knows best is both pompous and irritating! He is not a psychologist - but tries to act like one!

As for Marcus and Freddie having integrity - well - we will most certainly have to agree to disagree on that one!!

Oh my is this where my inferior intellect leaves me floundering against a torrent of stunning 'wit' and insightful psychoanalysis?

Of course not... I'm not Charlie, Rodrigo, David or Sophie and you are evidently neither funny, nor qualified.

Suffice to say that you are wrong in every regard - a predicament I'm sure you are well used to finding yourself in.

If more peple are tuning in to BB then my point stands (thanks for backing me up) - this BB IS more entertaining as a result of these 3 being in the house. You can argue the rights and wrongs of their abhorent, selfish and uncaring (boohoo) actions from the dizzy heights of your equine vantage point until the cows come home aka Charlie and Rodrigo weasling their way into the final. But when these 3 go BB will cease to be entertaining and poeple will switch off in their droves.

Contrary to your stance that BB are pandering to my type (lol) of viewer - the bland generally always rise to the top in this show and this year will more than likely go the same way. That's why I for one will enjoy the true entertainers for as long as they are there and do my utmost to pretend that the thickies, drones, clones and moans do not exist.

Have a nice day now

Rebel Team of Children = Exciting to teenagers and the shallow.

Bea = fukking fascinating as it gets to people who are actually intrigued in the psychological and sociological consequences of a proper BB game.

BB10 has taken a huge dip in the ratings this season and pandering to 15 year olds who want to see 'Jerry Springer: The Play' and idiots acting cool with cheap 'rebel' stunts.. ..well that is a sign of BB failing. Not winning.

Who said more people are tuning into bb - it has the lowest viewing figures this year than it has had for some time!!

Maybe more people would have been watching in the first place if idiots like Marcus weren't in there!!

It wouldn't surprse me at all if the fact that bb is shown in the school holidays is intentional - because a lot of its fans seem to be in that age group - with a large proportion of those being Marcus fans!

David to win!

Whos to say they wouldn't be even lower if Marcus et al weren't in? I certainly wouldn't be watching if it reverted to type like it has the last few years.

As for the viewing demographic... I don't doubt theres some truth in what you say about holidays etc but...take a look around you on this forum in particular then explain how that can be news to you??

I am very much not the typical BB viewer I assure you - I used to watch it back in the early series but for me it got stale and predictable and this year is the first in 4 that has actually caught my interest to any extent.

As for David to win...for what exactly?

For me - David seems the most genuine! He is pleasant enough, likeable, easy going and can be quite funny! He is not out to impress - and I like that! I believe he is in there for the experience - and probably doesn't expect to win!!

I liked the original idea of bb - and, like you, are disappointed in the way it has gone downhill. I would like it to return to its old format - but, unfortunately, that isn't likely to happen!

They're pretty self-centered for what they did and Rodrigo is right for pulling them up on it.

But it is still incredibly funny to watch and the more they stir things up the better. I do NOT want this show to return to the state it was in before Noirin got evicted.
