And tick off the necessary traits which apply. We might be easily deceived when we do not know what to look out for. Now you know what to look out for...

Blimey is damn right.. This is why she has been sacked from every bloody job she has had as the workplace these days usually has a no tolerance policy for manipulative bullies...

I think it's case of her not being able to take criticism, yet feels she is allowed to freely criticise others and not be challenged.
This was brilliantly exposed by Marcus last night during their disagreement. She couldn't take being told she was in the wrong and so resorted to breaking down and playing the victim in order to end her humiliation at the hands of Marcus. I don't think she has mental issues exactly, she's just not a nice person and has a seriously over inflated sense of self importance, there's a lot of people like her around. |

Bea is a very interesting character. Having said that, I can't stand the woman though. An outright bully.
Having watched how she has changed since she entered the house, her outburst at Marcus is no big surprise. She obviously knew Freddie was a popular housemate before going into the house. That is why she stuck to him like old chewing gum in the early days and hung out with the "cool kids" Freddie, Marcus and Siavash. Remember Team Marcus? How she bitched about Lisa and David in the diary room? It was only when she did the math that it dawned on Bea that she was outnumbered and could face eviction that she turned on Freddie about 'negativity' and used his feelings for her as a weapon against him. Freddie is dyslexic and verbalising his feelings under stress is very difficult for him, as with many dyslexics, which she knew and used in a really cruel way to cement her transfer over to the 'other side'. You will notice how any conflicts Bea initiates are performed very vocally in front of her sympathisers Lisa, Charlie, David and Rodrigo. She needs an audience and their confirmation of how justified she is to feel 'so upset'. She also knows that Marcus, Freddie and Siavash can't be influenced by her theatrical episodes and tries to alienate them from the other group as often as possible. They are percieved as her main threats and must be removed. Any opposition will be ruthlessly eliminated, Lisa will be next if she manages to get rid of Freddie and Marcus. Marcus stood up to her and exposed her game. If he survives eviction he will be on the receiving end of her wrath next week and it will not be pretty. |
