A former co-worker of mine died last weekend, but I will not be able to make the funeral on Friday as I will be travelling down that morning to visit my parents for Christmas.
Also one of my parent's pet dogs died this year, and mum is quite ill. It just feels that this will be a fairly bleak Christmas, plus a stinking cold does not help.
